Transforming Civic Education

John P. Hensley is a public school educator and scholar with research interests in civic education, the history of education, and cultural history. He is currently involved with creating an active civics elective that encourages students to identify problems in their communities and then connects them with legislators and policymakers who can help them achieve their goals.
